Fabiano’s (Timber Creations) journey into the world of custom furniture began 30 years ago in Brazil, under the patient and watchful eye of his father, Nivaldo. Fabiano’s father was a master craftsman who had spent decades honing his woodworking skills and developing a deep understanding of the trade. In their modest workshop, nestled in a small Brazilian town called “Inhumas”, Fabiano learned not just the techniques of furniture-making but also the values of precision, dedication, and artistry that his father embodied. Nivaldo’s approach went beyond technical instruction; he believed that woodworking was both a craft and a form of storytelling, where each piece reflected the maker’s care and creativity.

Fabiano started with the basics, sanding and preparing wood, before gradually moving on to more intricate techniques like joinery, carving, and finishing. Nivaldo emphasized the importance of understanding the unique characteristics of each type of wood, teaching him how to select, treat, and shape materials to create pieces that were born functional and beautiful. Over the years, Fabiano mastered the trade, combining his father’s traditional method with his own innovative ideas. This foundation not only equipped him with exceptional woodworking skills, but also instilled in him a passion for creating custom furniture that would stand the test of time.
